Working for Victoria team makes an impact

Eight staff are cleansing, sanitising and litter-picking their way across Bayside every week day, keeping Bayisde clean and beautiful. Over the past six weeks, this team has walked 2910 kilometres, picked up 257 bags of rubbish and cleaned graffiti from fences along the Nepean Highway from South Road to Cummins Road (some areas twice!).

The second part of this program is a graffiti management project, using beautiful street art to discourage tagging and add colour and life to our shopping centres, public toilets, bridges, power poles and signal boxes.

Feedback is being collected via the Graffiti removal and street art project page on Council's Have Your Say website to inspire the work of three mural artists engaged as part of this project to install street art across Bayside.
