A report will be prepared for the Coroner following the death of a worker at Crookwell today.
About 8.30am (Wednesday 24 January 2018), emergency services were called to the site of a communications tower on Redground Road, Crookwell, following reports a contractor had fallen to the ground, NSW Police say.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and attempted to revive the 34-year-old man; however, he died at the scene.
The communications tower is operated by the NSW Police Force with work at the site being undertaken by a company contracted by police.
Officers from The Hume Local Area Command are investigating the incident, with investigations also being undertaken by SafeWork NSW.
