World's Richest Greyhound Race Saturday Night at Wentworth Park

The inaugural GRNSW + Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase series will reach a stunning conclusion at Sydney’s Wentworth Park on Saturday night (October 20), when the connections of one greyhound will become instant millionaires.

Eight greyhounds will jump from the boxes and a little under 30 seconds later, one will have won the 520m sprint, and won their connections the $1 million first prize, the largest ever offered for a greyhound race.

Four Victorians and four NSW dogs will battle for the $1 million dollar prize, with leading Victorian trainer Seona Thompson having three finalists – Poke The Bear, Midnight Starlet and Azkaban, and NSW father and son training team, Andrew and Adam Crouch, represented by two finalists, Jamella Jet and Big Butters. Sky Wave, Dyna Harpa and the well-fancied Mystic Riot, make up the field.
