Would you like a disqualification with that?, SA

A man has been reported for drink driving after police noticed he appeared to be asleep with his vehicle's engine running in the car park of a takeaway restaurant at Victor Harbor last night, according to SA Police.

About 10.30pm police spoke with the 30-year-old Victor Harbor man who had been directed to the car park to wait for a drive-through order.

Police will allege he returned a positive reading for alcohol (0.177) and tested positive for methamphetamine.

The man was reported for drink driving, was served a notice instantly disqualifying him from driving for 12 months and had his car impounded for 28 days.

He is expected to face further consequences regarding the drug test once forensic testing is complete and will be summonsed to attend the Victor Harbor Magistrates Court at a later date.
