Toowoomba police have declared a crime-scene in Darling Heights after a man and woman were both found with serious injuries outside a burning house.
Police were called to a loud disturbance at the Quinlan Ct property shortly after midnight and found the injured woman outside.
Initial reports were that the man was still inside, but he was found a short distance away with serious injuries.
It is believed the man and woman are known to each other.
The pair were treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital for treatment.
There is no further information available at this time.
