Wounding Charges, Blackbutt North

Police have charged a 40-year-old man following a wounding incident at Blackbutt North on 5 February.

Around 7.45am emergency services were called to an address on Crumpton Drive following reports a man had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, a 45-year-old Blackbutt man was located with serious but non-life threatening injuries to his neck, and was transported to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment.

A 40-year-old Teelah man has been charged with one count of wounding and is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court today, 6 February.

Police are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.

Investigations continue.
