Detectives from the Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a wounding incident involving several teenagers at Bundall on 1 November.
Around 1am, police were called to Bundall Road following reports of an altercation between two groups of teenagers outside a warehouse.
Initial investigations indicate an altercation occurred during a private party where a 17-year-old boy sustained significant injuries after being struck on the head with a glass bottle.
The boy was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital, where he underwent surgery for lacerations to his ear.
Three other teenagers, two 17-year-old girls and a 17-year-old boy, also sustained minor injuries during the incident.
All offenders had left the scene prior to police arrival.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information, including mobile phone or dashcam footage, to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
