The Washington State University football team will play the Air Force Academy in the Cheez-It Bowl, Friday, Dec. 27 at 7:15 p.m. in Phoenix, Arizona.
The game marks the first meeting between WSU and the Air Force Academy of the Mountain West Conference.
Washington State is making its fifth-straight bowl appearance and sixth in eight years under head coach Mike Leach, marking the first time a coach has done either at WSU. The Cougars finished the regular season with a 6-6 overall record, 3-6 in Pac-12 play.
