Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a young boy’s death in Sydney’s south-west today, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to a home on Spitfire Drive at Raby just before 5.30pm today, after a six-year-old boy was found unconscious in a backyard pool.
He was taken by NSW Ambulance Paramedics to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead under a police escort, however died a short time after arriving.
A crime scene has been established and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers from the Macquarie Fields Local Area Command will now prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
