Take the first step to developing your farm business skills and learn new tips and tricks for managing a farming enterprise by signing up for the Kerang Young Farmer Business Bootcamp on in February.
Find out for yourself why there’s a buzz of excitement from participants following these bootcamps, as they return to their farms with solid business solutions, fresh ideas to try out and a support network at their fingertips.
“Young Farmer Business Bootcamps develop lasting legacies. Participants report leaving bootcamp feeling supported to try new things, but also knowing that ongoing help is close at hand,” Agriculture Victoria Program Manager Kellyanne Harris said.
The two-day Kerang bootcamp is suited to those who are young or new to managing a farm business and wanting to forge a long and successful career in beef, sheep and/or mixed farming.
“The bootcamps focus on skills that help them respond to a multitude of risks, such as dry seasonal conditions,” Ms Harris said.
The bootcamp will be delivered by Agriculture Victoria Farm Business Economist Tristan Wardley and all course materials will be provided.
The Kerang young farmers business bootcamp is scheduled for 12 and 19 February (20 February as a potential one on one session) at Agriculture Victoria’s Kerang office which is located at 26 – 28 Wellington Street.
