Youth Festival to feature live music, activities

Sawyer Park will be rocking the latest music and street culture on Sunday 14 April for Horsham Youth Festival.

The twilight event from 4pm to 8pm will feature an array of musicians including a local talent showcase followed by Kessia Peterson and Melbourne's DJ Brynny.

Entries for the local showcase are open until Wednesday.

Presented by Horsham Rural City Council as a part of National Youth Week, the free festival has been designed and organised by Horsham youth and celebrates the important contribution young people make to the Wimmera.

It's open to all ages, however it has been specifically designed for youth aged 10-25.

There will be loads of fun activities at the festival including a photo booth, temporary tattooist, mechanical bull, pop up beauty salon and plenty of other amusements.
