Police have charged two youths following a burglary at Inspired Hair and Beauty in Devonport on Sunday where a number of electrical items and haircare products were stolen, Tasmania Police say.
- A 14-year-old Devonport boy was charged with Burglary and Stealing and remanded in custody.
- A 12-year-old Devonport girl was charged with Burglary and Stealing and was bailed to appear in the Devonport Youth Justice Court at a later date.
Searches conducted yesterday by Devonport police resulted in the recovery of a large amount of the stolen property.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance so far and ask anyone with information in relation to the location of the remaining stolen property to contact them on 131 444 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
