14 Charged in South Coast Drug Operation

Police have charged 14 people with 41 offences, as part of an ongoing drug investigation on the state's south coast.

In October 2025, Strike Force Chowilla-Wilkinson was established to investigate the supply of illicit drugs within the South Coast Police District.

On Tuesday 9 December 2025 and Wednesday 10 December 2025, officers attached to Southern Region Enforcement Squad, with assistance from the Southern Region Operations Support Group, Southern Domestic Violence High Risk Offenders Team, South Coast Police District and NSW Dog Unit executed five search warrants and two Firearm Prohibitions Order in Erowal Bay, Sanctuary Point, Sussex Inlet and Bomaderry.

Police have seized drugs including cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, steroids, methylamphetamine, cash, fireworks and gel blasters.

On Thursday 11 December 2025, officers attached to Southern Region Enforcement Squad, Southern Domestic Violence High Risk Offenders Team NSW Dog Unit and Southern Operations Support Group trail bike operators, conducted a high visibility operation in and around Nowra's CBD.

Notable incidents include;

About 10am on Tuesday 9 December 2025, a 20-year-old man was arrested at a carpark in Moona Creek Road, Vincentia. He was taken Nowra Police Station. He was charged with 10 offences – including supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis and direct activities of criminal organisation. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 20 January 2026. A short time later search warrant was executed at a home in Sheeran Street, Old Erowal Bay, Police seized cannabis, cocaine, methylamphetamine and steroids. A 31-year-old female was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station. She was charged with participate in criminal group and two counts of supply prohibited drug. She was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 20 January 2026.

About 9.10am on Wednesday 10 December 2025, officers conducted a Firearms Prohibition Order search. A cannabis plant was located. A 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 20 January 2026.

About 9am on Wednesday 10 December 2025, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Bomaderry. Cannabis, cocaine, $1865 cash and electronic devices were seized. A short time later a 35-year-old man returned to the home and was arrested. He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug, recklessly deal proceeds of crime and possess prohibited drug. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 27 January 2026.

About 10.50am on Wednesday 10 December 2025, a 20-year-old man was arrested on Sanctuary Point Rd, Sanctuary Point and taken to Bay and Basin Police Station. He was charged with five counts of supply prohibited drug and supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis. He was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday 20 January 2026.

Yesterday (Thursday 11 December 2025), officers attended a home in Tallayang Street, Bomaderry. A 46-year-old man was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station. He was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm and destroy or damage property will appear in Local Bail Division Court 3 today (Friday 12 December 2025).
