$152,000 Of Cash And Drugs Seized, Rochedale

Upper Mount Gravatt (UMG) Tactical Crime Squad (TCS) have seized $152,000 of alleged drug cash and illicit drugs, including Cocaine, in Rochedale yesterday afternoon, 16 September.

At 12.30pm police received a report of a suspicious vehicle loitering on Finch Parade.

UMG TCS officers immediately responded and located a Ford Fiesta still on scene and arrested a 30-year-old Kingston man.

It is alleged a search of his vehicle located drug cash, a money counter and a quantity of Cocaine and Cannabis.

Alleged drug cash

The man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs Schedule 1 quantity of or exceeding Schedule 3 but less than schedule 4, and one count each of possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence under Drugs Misuse Act and possessing anything for use in the commission of crime defined in Part 2.

He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 9 October.

Investigations by the UMG TCS remain ongoing.
