18 Tasmanians Honored in 2025 King's Birthday Awards

Humanitarians, educators and wildlife carers are among the 18 Tasmanians recognised in the King's Birthday 2025 Honours List.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff congratulated each of the Tasmanians honoured in this year's awards.

"Tasmanians are so often quiet achievers, going about their days doing extraordinary work to support our community," Premier Rockliff said.

"The King's Birthday Honours is a special opportunity to recognise the work and commitments Tasmanians are making across our State in a range of fields.

"The 18 fantastic Tasmanians honoured have made significant contributions to our State, and I am incredibly proud to celebrate their achievements."

Four Tasmanians have been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of their distinguished achievements, including:

The following 13 Tasmanians have been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in appreciation of their contributions to their local communities:

A Meritorious Award has been awarded to one Tasmanian in recognition of his outstanding service in an Australian police force (Tasmania Police):
