19 New Recruits Join ACT Policing

ACT Policing has welcomed have 19 new constables who will soon be deployed to our five police stations across the ACT.

At a ceremony attended by family and friends, police leadership and instructing staff, the 6 women and 13 men will be an important addition to the ACT Policing team.

The new recruits, aged between 20 and 45 years old, previously worked in a range of industries including law, nursing, fitness and physics before commencing their training at the AFP College.

Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services Dr Marisa Paterson welcomed the swearing in of the new recruits and thanked them for choosing policing.
