2020 Emergency Management Conference

CFA is supporting volunteers and staff to attend the 2020 Emergency Management Conference (EMC). The conference will take place online over two weeks in late September and early October for two days each week.

2020 Emergency Management Conference

The conference is held each year for members from all Victorian emergency services to come together and provide insight, reflection, understanding and motivation across a wide range of topics and emergency management incidents.

It is vital that the emergency management sector continually reviews and assesses its effectiveness. What worked well, and what didn't quite hit the mark.

This year, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the conference will be conducted as an online event over two weeks for two days each week:

  • Tuesday 29 September
  • Wednesday 30 September
  • Tuesday 6 October
  • Wednesday 7th October

There will be two 2-hour sessions each day, with four speakers in each. You can view the detailed EMC Program here.
