2021 Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week runs annually from 27 May - 3 June. The 2020 National Reconciliation Week theme is 'More than a word. Reconciliation takes action.'

Reconciliation Week is a time to focus on creating a city that is strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Reconciliation Week Launch

Hume City Council, the Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group and the Sunbury Aboriginal Corporation invite the community together to support reconciliation. The event will include a Welcome to Country, speeches, lunch and entertainment including performances from Madi Colville and Indigenous Outreach Projects that you will not want to miss!
