The National Rugby League (NRL) today released the full 2026 Ampol State of Origin schedule, which will see Australian sport's greatest rivalry return to the MCG and the first Women's State of Origin clash on the Gold Coast.
The 2026 Ampol State of Origin Series will kick off in Blues territory at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Wednesday, May 27 before heading to Melbourne for the second time in three years with Game Two to be held at the iconic MCG on June 17.
Brisbane will be the site of the third and final showdown, with a potential series decider set for July 8 on Maroons turf at Suncorp Stadium.
After another record-breaking Ampol Women's State of Origin Series in 2025, the 2026 edition is set to kick off on Thursday, April 30 at the home of the defending champion NSW Blues at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.
The Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons will then host back-to-back home fixtures, including a blockbuster Suncorp Stadium clash and a potential series decider at Cbus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast on May 28.
In the midst of the Origin action, the next generation of NRL and NRLW stars will battle it out in the Under-19s State of Origin and Under-19's Women's State of Origin matches at North Sydney Oval on Thursday, June 18.

All matches in the men's and women's Origin series will be broadcast live and exclusive on the Nine Network. The U19's State of Origin matches will be broadcast live on both the Nine Network and on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
Tickets for Ampol State of Origin Game Two at the MCG in Melbourne go on sale to the public on Friday, November 28 via NRL.com/tickets. The pre-sale window for NRL Club Members and NRL Account Holders will open on Thursday, November 27.
A range of hospitality options is also available from NRL.com/hospitality. Tickets for the remaining men's and women's matches, as well as the Under-19s matches will go on sale at a later date.
