Three- and four-year-old kindergarten registrations are open for 2027.
Children are eligible to attend kindergarten in 2027 if they turn three or four before 30 April 2027.
Campaspe Shire Deputy Mayor, Cr Tony Marwood, said now is the time for families to start exploring local kindergarten options and lodge their registration.
"You can register at any time, but getting your application in between 1 May and 30 June gives you the best chance of receiving a first-round offer at the service you prefer.
"If you're unsure which kindergarten is right for your child, keep an eye out for open days throughout May. They're a great way to meet educators, see the learning spaces and ask questions.
"Eligible children can access up to two years of funded kindergarten. For children born between 1 January and 30 April, families can choose to start three-year-old kinder in the year their child turns three or wait until the year they turn four, depending on what works best for their child and their plans for starting school," Cr Marwood said.
