A driver has died in the states north after a single vehicle crash.
About 11.35pm yesterday (Sunday 1 February 2026), emergency services responded to reports that a vehicle had crashed into a tree along Ducat Street, Tweed Heads.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver and sole occupant - a man believed to be aged in his 30's - but he died at the scene.
Officers from Tweed-Byron Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
