The Territory Labor Government is supporting International Womens Day by investing in events and activities that highlight the social, economic, cultural and political achievements and contribution of women.
International Womens Day is celebrated on 8 March each year and it is also an opportunity to encourage conversations about contemporary gender issues that women face, and acknowledge the continuing journey that women have taken to achieve equal rights.
