Police have arrested and charged 59 people during the latest 'Dial-a-Dealer' operation – Strike Force Northrop-25 – run across Sydney's central metropolitan region this month.
Strike Force Northrop-25 was established by the Central Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad (CMR RES) – South to investigate the alleged supply of prohibited drugs, namely cocaine, by syndicates and/or individuals.
The most recent targeted operation took place between Thursday 6 November 2025 and Saturday 22 November 2025, and was led by officers from CMR RES – South, with support provided by police from CMR RES – North, CMR High Visibility Patrols, Surry Hills, Leichhardt, Eastern Suburbs, Eastern Beaches, St George, Sydney City and South Sydney Police Area Commands, as well as the Dog Unit, Operations Support Group and Public Order and Riot Squad.
During the operation, 59 people were charged with supply prohibited drug offences using the dial-a-dealer methodology, and 26 people were issued with Criminal Infringement Notices for possess prohibited drug offences.
Additionally, one person was charged with assault police and one person was charged with possess
unauthorised firearms.
In total, police seized varying amounts of cocaine, MDMA, ketamine, cannabis, psilocybin, pink Tusi, methylamphetamine, heroin, together with three rifles and $170,940 in cash.
Arrests of note from the operation included:
- About 5:15pm on Friday 8 November 2025, two men aged 21 and 31 were stopped by police on Little Collins Street, Surry Hills, while in a vehicle. The vehicle was searched when police allegedly located:
- 203 bags of Cocaine (157.4 grams),
- 66 bags of MDMA pills (142 grams),
- 40 bags of Ketamine (37.5 grams),
- three bags of Psilocybin mushrooms (29 grams),
- 280 tablets of Diazepam (130.1 grams), and
- $4,760 in cash.
The men were arrested and charged with offences including supply prohibited drug, possess prescribed restricted substance and deal with proceeds of crime. They were granted conditional bail and are due to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 20 January 2026.
- About 6.10pm on Friday 8 November 2025 police stopped a vehicle travelling along Riley Street, Surry Hills. When police approached the vehicle, the driver allegedly refused to unlock the doors. Police forced entry to the vehicle and searched the vehicle, where they allegedly located 34 bags of cocaine and more than $2700 in cash. The 30-year-old man was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug, deal with proceeds of crime and not comply with direction given by police. He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Sunday 9 November 2025. He has since been granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 24 November 2025.
- A 26-year-old man was arrested about 9pm on Friday 8 November 2025, after he was stopped in a vehicle on Foveaux Street, Surry Hills. When the vehicle was searched, police allegedly located 11 bags of cocaine, 50 diazepam tablets, $250 in cash and knuckledusters. The man was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited weapon and possess prescribed restricted substance. He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Sunday 9 November 2025. He has since been granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 24 November 2025.
- About 7:15pm on Friday 14 November 2025, police stopped a vehicle on Ryde Road, Hunters Hill. Officers spoke to the 30-year-old male driver before searching the vehicle, where they allegedly located 10 bags of cocaine (9.13 grams), two bags of MDMA (1.76 grams) and $1,100 in cash. The man was arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station. Following further inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home on Coxs Road, North Ryde, where they located and seized:
- 49.88 grams of cocaine,
- 68.79 grams of MDMA,
- 26.74 grams of ketamine,
- 6.35 grams of pink tusi,
- nine vials of testosterone, and
- three rifles.
The man was charged with supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug offences. He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Burwood Local Court on Monday 1 December 2025.
- About 6:26pm on 21 November 2025, police stopped and spoke to a 35-year-old man on Temple Street, Stanmore. Police then searched the man when they allegedly located seven bags of cocaine (4.47 grams) and $950. The man was arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station. Following further inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a unit on Figtree Drive, Sydney Olympic Park, where they located and seized a further 15 bags of cocaine (12.29 grams), four (4) vials of testosterone and $62,250 in cash. The man was charged with offences relating to supply prohibited drug, possess prescribed restricted substance and deal with proceeds of crime. He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Newtown Local Court on Tuesday 2 December 2025.
- About 5.40pm on Friday 14 November 2025, police stopped a vehicle on Bond Street, Sydney. When the vehicle was searched, police allege nine bags of cocaine, $1000 in cash, a black hunting knife and two mobile phones were located. A 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug, deal with proceeds of crime and custody of a knife. She was granted conditional bail and will appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 10 December 2025.
