6 degrees Announces Sustainability is Possible

6 degrees FESTIVAL OF NEW THINKING is set to tackle one of the most important issues of our times bringing you- Sustainability is Possible.

The Sustainability is Possible event will bring together Coffs business leaders telling stories of how they adopted sustainable practices and cut the cost of doing business - all while reducing their carbon footprint.

"Innovative thinking, resilience and sustainability are the pillars of business aptitude and capacity building and we are excited to have showcased some key foundations of these pillars to our local business community during the 'Festival of New Thinking'" explained Fiona Barden, Council's Section Leader, Industry and Destination Development.

At the event on July 8, Faircloth & Reynolds, The Happy Frog, Gamumbi Early Childhood Centre, The Hilltop Store and Let Them Play Toys will share their already-tested sustainable solutions so you can apply them in your business.

Also joining the event will be Alicia Cameron, business owner and founder of Plastic Free Port Stephens. Alicia will share insights and practical ideas she has gained working with a variety of industries, and help you understand solutions to plastic pollution.

Businesses of all types and sizes can benefit from this opportunity to learn and network with other like-minded people. The event is sure to entertain, educate and leave you feeling inspired with the knowledge that sustainability is possible!

Participants will be invited to express their interest in staying connected to collaborate and bolster the Coffs Coast's sustainable business profile.
