Today we mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, and throughout 2020, the anniversary of the end of the Holocaust.
We honour the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and pledge to keep their legacy alive, along with our earnest efforts to ensure genocide never returns.
It is important for all of humanity that such an appalling chapter in human history continues to be remembered today, and by future generations.
