Nine players from Sydney and the ACT are celebrating a joint win of $1.3 million from the weekend's Saturday Lotto. The nine-member syndicate secured one of the four division one winning slots in the Saturday Lotto draw 4403 on 30 September 2023 (Besides this syndicate, three others also won about $1.3 million each.)
In addition to their division one triumph, the group's System 10 QuickPick entry also made notable achievements, landing wins in several other divisions. These included six wins in division two, 18 in division three, 90 in division four, 60 in division five, and 20 in division six. This impressive run elevated their total winnings to a substantial $1,327,427.65. Consequently, each syndicate member is set to pocket a handsome sum of $147,491.96.
Interestingly, not all members might be aware of their windfall. This revelation has led lottery officials to send out an appeal for players to verify their tickets posthaste.
