The following is a statement from Acting CEO Graham Strong.
A story published in The Age and SMH on Tuesday, March 10, has alleged that World Vision Australia's then-CEO Claire Rogers in December 2019 failed to act on what is claimed to be a whistle-blower disclosure.
This allegation is within the scope of the external investigation being conducted by KPMG, which will also guide any future police investigation.
We are resolute in the belief that the investigation needs to take place.
We are, therefore, unable to comment further on the matter.
