A criminal syndicate allegedly making and selling illegal performance enhancing drugs has been dismantled by the Australian Border Force (ABF), after a huge haul of drugs and equipment was seized from four Perth properties.

On 10 December 2025, ABF officers executed warrants in Bibra Lake, Aubin Grove, Brabham and Alexander Heights, following an investigation which began after a series of consignments containing a suspect white powder were sent through international mail to parcel lockers across Perth over the last six months.

While at the properties, officers seized over 3,000 vials, approximately 5kg of white powder and over 10,000 tablets, all believed to be performance enhancing drugs.

Officers also seized equipment which will be alleged was used in the manufacture of performance enhancing drugs, including an air dryer and pill compressing machines, along with unlabelled empty pill bottles, labels and packaging. A number of mobile phones were also seized.

ABF Inspector Kelly Jorgensen said the amount of performance enhancing drugs and equipment had an estimated street value of well over $1 million.

Inspector Jorgensen said it was concerning that the professional looking labels and scale of the operation would mislead consumers into thinking they were buying a safe and legal product.

"Performance enhancing drugs are regulated for good reason, they have the potential to be very dangerous as you don't really know what you are putting into your body," Inspector Jorgensen said.

"Criminals that make and sell these drugs only care about profit, they are not interested in your health or desire to achieve better abs."

Investigations into the syndicate remain ongoing.
