One week on from the horrific attack at Bondi Beach, our thoughts remain with the victims, their families, the entire Jewish community and everyone affected.
We continue to stand with the Jewish community and all affected, as we mourn and grieve.
We reaffirm our unequivocal rejection of antisemitism, racism and all forms of hate. No one should live in fear because of who they are, what they believe, or the community to whom they belong.
The community sector remains committed to supporting people affected by trauma and loss, and to working for communities that are just, peaceful and inclusive, where all people are treated with dignity and respect.
Over the past seven days the Australian community has united in solidarity, compassion and kindness. ACOSS urges our sector and community to join in The One Mitzvah for Bondi. It is through these acts of care and generosity we show that love will always triumph over hate.
