Act of indecency near park at Macquarie Fields, NSW

A man has been charged with an act of indecency following an incident near a park in Macquarie Fields today, NSW Police say.

Just before 1pm (12 October 2106), police attended Simmos Beach, Fifth Avenue, after receiving information about a man acting suspiciously in a nearby car.

Officers approached the parked car, which was facing the park, and will allege he was committing an act of indecency.

At the time there were two young children on the play equipment.

The 63-year-old man was arrested and taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station. He was charged with commit an act of indecency with a child under 10, commit an act of indecency with person over 16 and offensive behaviour.

The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on 17 October 2016.
