The adjustment refers to a motorcycle crash which occurred on 7 September 2019. A male rider suffered serious injuries as a result and later passed away on 26 October 2019, more than 30 days after the crash.
The 2019 Northern Territory Road Toll is now 23 compared to 46 this time last year.
