The two leaders discussed ongoing collaboration in naval operations and intelligence-sharing, with an emphasis on strengthening their long-standing partnership. They also reaffirmed their strong security collaboration, centered on building regional capacity against transnational organized crime, illicit trafficking, and enhancing mutual shipbuilding capacity to support long-term naval capabilities.

Kilby expressed his gratitude for the Colombian Navy's planned participation in UNITAS , upcoming Navy/Marine Corps and Nation 250th events and the International Naval Review in 2026. The Heads of Navy expressed their dedication to continued partnership through joint exercises and operations reinforcing their commitment to regional security and stability.
