AFLW VIP packages now available at Mildura

If you're thinking of attending next weekend's massive AFLW clash between Richmond and GWS Giants at the Mildura Sporting Precinct, you can elevate the experience to a whole new level with the introduction of our AFLW VIP package.

The all-inclusive package is $75 and provides exclusive access to guest speaker presentations on the day from:

Kate Sheahan – Richmond Head of Women's Football

Kate is a former professional tennis coach and AFLW player with the Collingwood Football Club.

Kate is the daughter of sports journalist Mike Sheahan.

Kate has been with the Tigers since 2017, and was the Club's first dedicated Women's Football appointment, playing a leading role in building the program from the ground up.

Peggy O'Neal – Outgoing President of the Richmond Football Club

Peggy is an American-born Australian lawyer who, since October 2013, and has served as President of the Richmond Football Club. Peggy was the first woman in AFL history to serve as a club president.

In 2019 Peggy was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to Australian rules football, to superannuation and finance law, and to the advancement of women in leadership roles.

Peggy was instrumental in helping the club secure a breakthrough premiership in 2017, kicking off a dominant four-years period on and off the field for the Tigers, who would go on to win premierships back-to-back in 2019 and 2020.

Angela Burt –Indigenous Player Development Manager- Richmond Football Club

Angela Burt is a Palawa woman and works across both the Club's men's and women's programs, providing wellbeing support, education, and cultural leadership.

Angela is the co-chair of the Richmond Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and is a RAP advisor to both nib, and the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

When she is not at the Club, Angela is working on her PhD in Indigenous studies.

The package also includes food and drink for the duration of the event and premium parking.
