Yesterday 2 men entetred the Mowbray Hotel Sports Bar armed, with edged weapons. The males took an amount of cash and other property from the Hotel, Tasmania Police say.
The offenders arrived and left the hotel in a white Holden Commodore Ute, possibly a VN model.
Uniform,CIB and Forensics attended the scene.
The offenders gained entry behind the counter, a male employee of the hotel was struck to the head by one offender. The victim required treatment at the Launceston General Hopsital for injuries but has since been released.
Launceston CIB are continuing to investigate.
