A man been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with a suspected stab would after an incident at Elizabeth Vale this morning.
Just after 10am Monday 1 April police and emergency services were called to a home on Poplar Street after an altercation occurred between two men inside the premises. As a result of the altercation one man received a suspected stab wound to the abdomen.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the RAH with non-life threatening injuries. A short time later police located the suspect on nearby Hamptworth Street where he was arrested.
Crime Scene Investigators are heading to Poplar Street to assist patrols with the investigation into the incident. Both men are known to each other and this is not a random attack.
