Police are investigating an aggravated break and enter at a home in Seven Hills this morning, NSW Police say.
Police have been told residents were woken by noises downstairs in their home in Bulah Way about 4.45am today tomorrow.
A man, believed to be aged in his 20s, went to investigate and sustained an injury to his left ear when he confronted two men.
The men ran from the house and police from Blacktown Local Area Command were alerted.
Police have established a crime scene at the home and are speaking with the residents.
The man has been treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics but has declined to go to hospital.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
