Aggravated break-in, man charged, NSW

A man has been charged following two break and enters at Warwick Farm yesterday, NSW Police say.

During the afternoon today, three people were inside a unit on Mannix Parade, when a man attended at the front door, before having a short conversation with one of the occupants and leaving.

A short time later, the man returned and allegedly assaulted one of the occupants, a 46-year-old man.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment for facial injuries.

It’s alleged another unit on Mannix Parade was broken into, however, it was unoccupied at the time.

Police will allege the man returned to the first unit and attempted to yell and punch the door, before forcing entry and assaulting a woman.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command attended and arrested a 31-year-old man.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with six offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, break and enter house, aggravated break and enter without knowing person, common assault, remain in building with intent to commit indictable offence, and commit offence having previous conviction.

The man was refused bail to face Liverpool Local Court tomorrow.
