Aggravated robbery at Davoren Park, South Australia

Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery at Davoren Park.

About 11.44am today (Thursday 12 August) patrols were called to a convenience store on Peachey Road after reports that a man armed with a metal pole had entered the store and demanded money.

He hit a staff member with the pole, but she was not seriously injured.

The man stole cash and was last seen driving away in a white sedan with a rear spoiler.

The vehicle was last seen driving away on Whitington Road towards Coventry Road.

The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, and was wearing a grey jumper, tracksuit pants and a balaclava.
