Aggravated robbery at Paralowie, South Australia

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Paralowie this morning which lead to a serious crash at Edinburgh soon after.

About 4.30am this morning (Friday 20 August), a man was asleep in his green VY Commodore on Jessie Road when he was allegedly dragged from his car and assaulted by two masked offenders. The two suspects then stole the victim's Commodore and sped off. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Soon after, about 4.50am, police were called to Edinburgh Road near Sturton Road at Edinburgh after reports of a serious crash between a green VY Commodore and a Mitsubishi Lancer.

When police arrived they found the driver of the Commodore and the driver of the Mitsubishi still at the scene with serious but non-life threatening injuries. However the passenger of the Commodore was not located.

Police with the assistance of police dog Zeus searched the area but have been unable to locate the passenger at this time. Motorists are advised road closures and restriction in place on Edinburgh Road and Sturton Road, Avoid the area if you can or take direction from Emergency Services at the scene.
