Aggravated robbery at Salisbury East, SA

Police are searching for a man driving a white Toyota Hilux ute following an aggravated robbery involving a firearm at Salisbury East last night, according to SA Police.

Just after 11.30pm on Monday 12 June, a man driving a white Toyota Hilux single cab ute chased and rammed three teenagers in a small Mazda sedan, before ramming the vehicle in Birch Avenue, then smashing a window and threatening them with a firearm, robbing the teenagers of their mobile phones and wallets.

One of the victims was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police searched the area for the suspect who is described a male Caucasian wearing a red baseball cap, and grey a top possibly a flannelette shirt. No registration of the suspect vehicle was obtained.

Elizabeth Police are investigating the incident which is not considered a random attack. It is believed to be linked to the teenagers throwing eggs at cars on Main North Road just prior to the robbery.
