Aggravated Robbery in Tennant Creek: Police Seek Witnesses

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an aggravated robbery in Tennant Creek on Friday night.

At about 10:20pm, Tennant Creek Police responded to an incident at a service station on Paterson Street involving a 29-year-old male armed with an edged weapon.

The offender entered the service station multiple times, allegedly threatening staff and stealing various items on each occasion.

General Duties members swiftly arrested the offender, and a crime scene was established.

The male has been charged with aggravated robbery and other offences. He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Tennant Creek Local Court on Monday 12 February 2024.
