"He has always shown a constructive understanding of the importance of business in growing jobs and wealth for strong communities. He appreciates that the strengths of the State's balanced economy lie with a productive mix of services, traditional and advanced manufacturing, construction, mining and agriculture.
"Mr Daley has an opportunity to develop an agenda that is favourable to investment, the development of workforce skills and the creation of productive workplaces.
