We continue to work with Coles in relation to the best public outcomes for the interface of the renovated supermarket with the public realm of Sharwood Street.
Council's ultimate aim is to deliver the best possible outcome for public access whist facilitating the additional improvements and upgrade of the supermarket.
Coles has been requested to supply additional material for Council officers to consider these options and determine what will deliver the best result.
In the interim, a temporary footpath will be provided (fully funded by Coles) adjacent the air lock which has been partially constructed.
