Airmen and Guardians can learn anytime, anywhere, on any device with myLearning username and password

Beginning June 23, Total Force Airmen and Guardians will have the capability to learn anywhere, anytime, and on any device, with the help of a myLearning username and password.

Air Education and Training Command officials announced the addition of the new identity access management tool to the learning system, which will give personnel with a Common Access Card the ability to create a username and password to log into myLearning and myTraining on personally owned devices (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), with the aid of a third-party authentication application.

This also allows units who have missions outside the office environment, such as maintenance, security forces, or logistics readiness, to complete their training away from a government owned computer, Oakland said.

To create a username and password, users must first log into myLearning with their CAC on the government network. Airmen can use a mobile device with the security authentication applications FreeOTP or Google Authenticator, which are both free and available on the device’s app store.
