Airport emergency exercise successfully conducted, NSW

An emergency services exercise was successfully conducted at Coffs Harbour this morning, NSW Police say.

About 10.30am (Thursday 10 May 2018), police and emergency services conducted a one-hour exercise at Coffs Harbour airport to respond to a mock aircraft emergency.

Emergency services which attended included officers from Coffs / Clarence Police District, Fire & Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance, Rural Fire Service, SES and Coffs Harbour airport personnel.

The exercise tested emergency procedures and was successfully conducted.

Normal operations have resumed at the airport.
