Wentworth Shire
In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, Wentworth Shire Council at its meeting held 15 October 2025, resolved to continue the Alcohol Free Zones established at Wentworth, Dareton and the Buronga Wetlands for a further four (4) years subject to a community consultation period of twenty eight (28) days. The zoned areas are identified in the maps below.
Any representations or objections to the proposal must be forwarded to Council by 5pm on Tuesday 22 November 2025.
