Police are seeking assistance to help identify a suspect for three separate incidents of theft of alcohol in Mulgrave and Glen Waverley.
Investigators have been told a man entered a bottle shop on Dandenong Road, Mulgrave and stole four bottles of whisky on 26 April about 2.30pm.
It is believed the same man attended a bottle shop on Springvale Road, Glen Waverley and placed a bottle of cognac in his jacket before leaving the store without paying on 27 April about 4.30pm.
The man is believed to have returned to the bottle shop on Dandenong Road on 16 May stealing three bottles of whisky and a bottle of liquour just after 1pm.
Police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.
