Calling all wizards, witches and muggles - now is your chance to learn more about the wonderful world of witchcraft and wizardry at Camden Libraries' Harry Potter Night!

On Thursday 24 June, 6-7.30pm, Harry Potter fans will be able to dive into a trivia quiz as well as create their own potion and magical wands at Oran Park Library. There will be a number of prizes up for grabs, including one for the most elaborate costume - although, attendees are warned not to use any polyjuice potion to keep the competition fair!

Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the event would give locals the chance to use a portkey and find themselves right in the middle of Hogwarts.

"Harry Potter quickly became a household name in the late 1990s and early 2000s, giving children and adults a chance to expand their imagination," Cr Fedeli said.

"Residents are set to have lots of fun on Camden Libraries' Harry Potter Night and I am sure they will walk away even wanting to read the books or watch the movies all over again.

"These events are also about celebrating and reminding people of the importance of reading, imagining and expanding the mind.

"I look forward to seeing many attendees dressed as their favourite Harry Potter characters and encourage fans to head down to Oran Park Library and have some great fun."
