Alleged road rage assault at Warrane, TAS

Police are investigating an alleged assault on a 68-year-old man in Warrane on Wednesday night, which is believed to have started from a road rage incident, Tasmania Police say.

The alleged assault occurred around 6.00pm and involved a number of vehicles and people.

The victim from Lenah Valley received non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing.

Police are calling for information or dash cam footage from anyone who may have seen two or three vehicles driving erratically between the Bayfield Street and Cambridge Road intersection and Bass Street, Warrane between 5.50pm and 6.10pm on Wednesday night.
