Alleged 'upskirting' incident; man charged, NSW

Police have charged a man over an alleged ‘upskirting’ offence in Sydney’s north-west.

Officers were called to a shopping centre on Hollingsworth Drive, Marsden Park, about 12.30pm today, after reports a man was allegedly behaving in an offensive manner inside the store.

Police from Mount Druitt Local Area Command and spoke to a 26-year-old man.

Officers conducted a search of the man’s mobile phone and found numerous videos allegedly of women being filmed without their consent.

The man was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station where he was charged with film persons private parts without consent.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Wednesday 8 November 2017, NSW Police say.
